Directions for Product Use+

How to Use:

  1. For landscape use and vegetable gardening: (a) apply compost in a 2 to 4-inch layer spread over the soil surface; (b) incorporate it into the first several inches of soil.
  2. For new seeding on established lawns (1/2" screen series): (a) apply a 1/4-inch layer of compost over the lawn; (b) incorporate the seed and fertilizer into this layer.
  3. For new lawns: (a) apply a 4-inch layer of compost over the soil surface; (b) incorporate it into the top 4 inches of soil; (c) apply the seed and fertilizer per manufacturer recommendations.

Note: The UCC will not ensure whether or not, or in what extent, these directions are appropriate. It is the Compost Manufacturer responsibility alone to ensure they are.
